Ribfest is back! The annual Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest will be back in Bismarck June 14 – 16 in Lot D of the Civic Center parking lot. Ribfest is a Downtowners event created to stimulate interest and excitement in the downtown area and bring the Bismarck community together.

National “ribbers” show up to cook ribs, pulled pork and beef, brisket, potato salad, coleslaw and all the sides and “fixin’s”. The show runs from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM all three days and will feature “ribbers” Johnson’s Barbecue, Inc., Cowboys Barbeque & Rib Co., Howling Coyote BBQ, Porky ‘n Beans BBQ and Willingham’s BBQ. In addition, to the rib booths, there will be other local booths highlighting businesses. Ribfest is an opportunity for the whole community to participate and become involved.

Besides creating new interest and excitement, the Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest is a family event. There are activities scheduled for all members of the family: food, live music, big-ticket item booths, inflatable games for kids ages 2 to 102, eating contests, VIP Tent sponsored by Cloverdale Foods, Beer Mug Club Promotions and much more!

In addition to Ribfest, the Professional Bull Riders will be in the arena Friday and Saturday nights, June 15 – 16 for people to make a full weekend of it! Pork and Beef will MEAT at the Civic Center at the same time this year. PBR Fans, can bring their PBR ticket to Ribfest and receive $2 off admission, any day, any time!

Admission is $5/adults all day pass, kids 12 & under are free. Ask about PBR discounts and military discounts. Lunch admission is free Thursday and Friday from 11am-1pm. Proceeds go to the Downtowners for betterment efforts for downtown Bismarck. Special VIP tickets are available for those interested in the new V.I.P tent, sponsored by Cloverdale Foods.
