To help lend support to other local charitable organizations, The BisMan Bombshellz donated a portion of the proceeds from their January 7, Snow Brawl Bout, to the Missouri Valley Coalition for Homeless People.

The Missouri Valley Coalition for Homeless People exists to advocate, coordinate, and optimize services for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across North Dakota’s Missouri Valley incorporating the counties of Burleigh, Emmons, Grant, Kidder, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sheridan and Sioux.

“We wanted to show our support of an organization whose mission is to help ensure housing and other basic human needs are within everyone’s reach,” said Derby League President Amy Hendrickson. “Our donation will help provide funding assistance for necessary personal identifications and other basic needs for clientele of the Coalition members’.”

For each bout, The BisMan Bombshellz donates a portion of their proceeds to charity. Previous charities included ND Women’s Way, ND Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Inc. (T.A.P.S) and the National Guard Family Readiness Program.

The BisMan Bombshellz next bout will be March 24 at Prairie Knights Casino and Resort. Visit www.bismanbombshellz.com for more information.
